ciara comes to visit

in november, karisa's younger sister, ciara came to visit. it was so much fun to have someone from america come to visit! she kept playing us pop songs from the radio and laughing because we had never heard them before. when she got here we took her up high to see the views from notre dame, the eiffel tower, sacracour and the pompidou. then we took her underground to see the catacombs, le caveau des oubilletes, and a cemetary. basically, we made her take a lot of pictures of old, dead things. haha, she kept laughing at us for taking her to such creepy places, but we all had a lot of fun.

london calling

part one: me, karisa, and our friend abbey went to london one weekend and loved it so much that we decided to go back a second time two weeks later. the first time we went it was a "foggy day in london town" the first day, and then a beautiful, blue skied day the next. one of the first places we visited was the museum, the tate modern. we all loved it and there were some really strange pieces of abstract art there, including a giant scary spider that freaked me out. the next day we walked around alot and did the tour at the tower of london, then walked past buckingham palace, big ben, parliament, hyde park, and kensington gardens.

part two: the second time we went to london we decided to get some more shopping in so we went to portobello street in notting hill, and camden high street up in punky camden. also, me and karisa got posh london haircuts while we were there. oh yeah, and we also tried to go to hogwarts, but we missed our train! guess we'll have to wait to get in next year...

karisa was sooo excited for the classic red telephone booth picture!
