now i don't want anyone to think i'm a snob, but honestly karisa and i BOTH thought that versailles was not as impressive as we thought it was going to be!! i think we had just heard about how big and beautiful it was supposed to be and maybe our hopes were too high, but we just thought it was okay.
well other than our very high opinions, we had a great time and were very happy we went to see for ourselves. the way that the chateau was so opulently decorated with rococo murals on every wall and gold everywhere, you could imagine how amazing it would have been to be there during the times of marie antoinette. mostly, karisa and i enjoyed the brightly colored wall paper. haha, we want to decorate our apartment like that!
